postheadericon Places Twitter: Twitter’s response to Foursquare and other geo-location social services

Announced a few weeks now, Twitter Places is the new “location based” Twitter: it simply, you can associate each tweet to a “place” specific, be it a bar, a monument or any other “venues” (to quote Foursquare) in the system.

Twitter Places – should be pretty simple:

  1. First you need to enable the “Add a location to your tweets” in “Settings”
  2. a tweet when see a small arrow below the box, this will open a dropdown menu with seats close to location.
  3. where can not find the place where click on “search places” and try inserting the name if it appears in the select list, otherwise can add (although this feature is not available for all)
