Control the cost of your Adwords campaigns targeting your ads
A program adwords ad unchecked can cost you dearly. To avoid paying for clicks that do not relate, it is essential to target your ads. The key parameters are: the delivery period, geographic targeting, the length of the ad and of course the key word.
Duration Ad
This parameter is taken into account if you want to chat about an event or promotion on a specific period. If your ads are about your business generally, it is not necessary to limit the dissemination of the announcement in time.
Delivery Period
A link with visits to your site, this parameter determines the broadcast time slots. If you find that your objectives are translated from 8:00 to 24:00, you can limit the display of your ad in this slot.
Geo Targeting
If your catchment area is local, there is no need to advertise in all countries. You can target a departmental or regional clientele.
Headword
Targeting keywords is very important because it can save your money.
There are four matching options keywords:
Broad match keyword
This is the default setting. It means your ad will appear for all queries containing at least one of your keyword terms and their synonyms, plurals or variations of the word (eg automobile , car …).
Exact phrase (in quotes)
Your ad will appear for queries that contain your phrase.
Exact Match (in brackets [ ])
This is the most restrictive mode : the ad is displayed for exactly the same queries for your keyword.
Negative keyword (preceded by a minus sign “-”)
As its name suggests, the queries containing the negative keywords will not display your ads. Taking into account these keywords follow the same rules as setting for keywords (broad match, exact phrase and exact keyword).
