Achieve good organic positioning in search engines (especially Google) will be the starting point for your service, product or simply your personal blog can be discovered and visited by many people.
One important thing to note is the knowing look and “catch” to that audience. In fact, one of the major mistakes many of those who do SEO, is trying to cover the entire spectrum of users surfing the net.
If you have a site where the main theme is “Beekeeping”, and receive visits from readers seeking “How to lose weight”, it is clear that most do not want to be interested to read much of your content. And if these visits are paid (e.g., AdWords), then that does the thing much more complicated.
Lots to talk to when performing SEO, but here are three “pillars” that have seen have withstood “the test of time”, here goes:
1) – The title. This should be less than 50 characters, why? Simply because if you make a very large title it does not first complete displays organic search, and also run the risk of not being indexed by search engines.
2) – The first 4 lines of the post. Here you write should be part of the title as it appears, in fact it is good to repeat this procedure at least 2 times throughout the post.
3) – Links. These should include of course the words you use in the title. However, you can edit them (if your WordPress permalinks), you can leave out some words of “lightweight”, example:
Title: “How to lose weight eating whatever you like”
Link: “/as-lose-weight-eating-rich”
This is just a clear example; you might want to “play” around with the variables of words to use on the links to get the highest possible ratio of people looking for the same.
